Box4U Pinterest API Disclosure
Box4U uses the Pinterest API in selected Box4U tools to let authorized users connect their Pinterest account, read Pinterest boards, create sandbox or production boards where permitted, and create Pins from Box4U product assets.
No Pinterest affiliation or endorsement
Box4U is not endorsed by, sponsored by, certified by, or affiliated with Pinterest. Pinterest is a third-party service, and Pinterest names, logos, trademarks, platform features, and related marks belong to Pinterest or its respective owners.
Pinterest-derived data
When a user connects Pinterest, Box4U may store limited Pinterest-derived data needed for the integration, such as OAuth connection status, access tokens, refresh tokens, token environment, board IDs, board names, created Pin IDs, Pin URLs, API response status, and posting logs. This data is used only to operate the Box4U Pinterest integration, troubleshooting, scheduling, reporting, and account support.
Disconnecting Pinterest
When a user disconnects Pinterest from Box4U, Box4U removes or invalidates the stored Pinterest OAuth tokens and stops making Pinterest API calls for that connected account. Local scheduling records, API logs, board mappings, and created Pin references may be deleted or retained only as needed for security, debugging, accounting, or legal compliance, unless the user requests deletion where applicable.
No resale or redistribution of Pinterest data
Box4U does not sell, resell, license, or redistribute Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data to third parties. Box4U does not use Pinterest-derived data to build or maintain independent databases of Pinterest content outside the intended Box4U Pinterest integration.
